Senior QA Engineer

Finstek is seeking for a talented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our Finstek Trading Platform team.

We have been developing a new high-load and scalable online trading platform with mobile terminals (iOS, Android), web/desktop terminal, and web back office.

The platform provides retail traders access to financial markets via trading terminals, supports hedging and netting order accounts, different order types, and functionality for automated trading. The platform architecture supports white labelling feature for the brokers.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a leading role in building quality into products and processes, ensuring product and service excellence to deliver high-quality, reliable, valuable, and competitive products for the market.

What You'll Do:

• Uncover gaps in business and technical requirements 
• Participate in the analysis and design of the product 
• Review and improving processes 
• Identify and asses potential risks upon product development, preventing and eliminating bugs 
• Develop test scenarios and cases, writing and executing all kinds of software tests for testing new features (gray box and black box testing) 
• Manual behavioral testing (mobile and web UIs mostly) 
• Work as a part of a scrum team in parallel with developers to continuously produce shippable product increments 
• Help PO/PM with defining acceptance criteria, ensuring that edge cases are identified and covered, eliminating dependencies between user stories
• Participate in QA tasks estimation, knowledge sharing

Must Have:

• 4+ years of experience in a QA position
• 2+ year of hands-on experience in testing mobile client-server apps on both iOS and Android platforms 
• 2+ year of hands-on experience in testing web applications 
• Basic SQL Proficiency (at least on SELECT, DELETE, INSERT, JOIN level)
• Proficiency in API testing, experience with Postman
• Experience with virtual machines
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and such frameworks as Kanban and Scrum 
• Familiarity with Jira or any similar bug tracking systems
• Familiarity with Confluence or any other similar corporate wiki systems
• Good communication and negotiating skills 
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility 
• Strong analytical skills
• Good written and spoken English (B1)

Nice to Have:

• Understanding and hands-on experience in testing products in the FinTech (trading) domain
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Portal
• Experience with BrowserStack
• Familiarity with Testrail or any other similar test management platforms
